Common Insurance Claim Questions
Q: Will my insurance rate increase by submitting a storm damage claim?
A: storm damage claim, also known as an "Act of God" claim, falls under the category of natural disasters and does not count against you for future rate increases. By law, one can NOT be directly penalized for this type of claim.
While most insurance companies prefer to pay-out enough for partial repairs only, with our expertise and advocacy, we here at Family First Roofing will ensure that you get paid top dollar by your insurance company in order for you to get your entire roof replaced.
Not only this, but our years of experience working with insurance companies have allowed us to build a strong, positive reputation and working relationship with these companies. Our claims are approved time and time again, our estimates are proven fair.
Q: Couldn't I just submit an insurance claim myself?
A: Submitting a claim and dealing with insurance by yourself is like showing up to court without a lawyer; not a good idea.
Oftentimes, insurance adjusters miss critical pieces of information that is needed for your claim to be approved.
That's why we at Family First Roofing will inspect your roof ourselves, and work alongside the adjuster sent by your insurance company in order to ensure that all of your roof's damage is accurately assessed. Our insurance claim specialists represent a helpful presence—looking out for your interests—during the claim process by providing our own estimates and documentation in the form of pictures, measurements, and damage-tests.
Q: What's the catch?
"It's all too good to be true! I'm going to have to pay for some sort of fee aside from my deductible."
FALSE—We guarantee that your only out-of-pocket obligation will be your insurance deductible before we submit any claims or get to work.
